Why is the difference not what it was last month?
Daylight saving. Countries change clocks on different dates, so for a few weeks each spring and autumn the usual gap between two cities is an hour out. Set the real meeting date and the converter uses the rules for that day.
What is UTC?
Coordinated Universal Time, the reference every zone is measured from. It does not observe daylight saving, which is why software and aviation use it.
How do I pick a time that suits everyone?
Move the time and watch the list. Anything shown outside roughly 08:00 to 18:00 is going to be a bad hour for somebody.
