About this alarm clock
The alarm below is set to 3:00 AM. Press start and it rings at 3:00 AM, whether that is later today or tomorrow morning. Pick a sound and a snooze length first if you like.
What it does
- Keeps ringing until you stop it or snooze it.
- Snoozes for 1, 5, 10 or 15 minutes in one tap.
- Counts down in the browser tab title, so you can watch it from another tab.
- Remembers your time, sound, volume and format when you reload.
- Keeps the times you have used, so a regular alarm is one tap away.
- Keeps the screen awake while an alarm is armed, where the browser allows it.
- Rings even with no connection once the page has loaded.
Will it ring if I switch tabs?
Yes. Leave the tab open and it rings in the background, even with the window minimised. It cannot ring if you close the tab, quit the browser, or the device sleeps or shuts down — a web page stops running at that point.
Why is it silent?
Browsers block sound until you interact with the page, so press Play next to the sound picker once to check it. If you still hear nothing, raise your device volume — the slider only sets the level within it.
Can I set more than one alarm?
Open this page in a second tab and set a different time there. Each tab keeps its own alarm.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, on any phone, tablet or computer with a browser. Keep the tab open and the screen from locking for the alarm to sound.
What time should I set?
Most people wake between 6:00 and 7:00, but the number that matters is your bedtime: count back seven to nine hours from the alarm and go to bed then. An alarm you fight every morning is usually set right and reached after too little sleep.
